I think the icons should be changes a bit. They look really plain and old. I have no idea what they should be...maybe like a picture of something with "no new posts" on it for nothing new and something like a kunai that hit a target with really standing out colors "NEW POSTS!"
and locked like 2 guards and a big anti- sign (sircle with cross in it)
